| Spencer Crawford Children's Foundation, Inc.'s services are tailored to meet the needs of each individual family and child. Just as no two people are alike, no two illnesses or family situations are the same. Some families may need limited assistance for a short period of time while other families need additional assistance for a longer period of time. Our services are free to those families caring for a child diagnosed with a life threatening illness. We rely solely on the generosity of public and private donors to fund our services. Below are some of the services we provide: Assistance by providing relief from the day to day responsibilities of care giving (respite care services) Assistance with household tasks and errands Assistance with negotiating medical bills, healthcare benefits and providing assistance with pharmaceutical needs Assistance with travel plans, costs and arrangements associated with necessary medical care and treatments Coordinating friends and extended family members into an effective care group to support and assist In-home family and individual counseling and emotional support Providing contact with other families whose children have same or similar medical conditions (networking) |
